"I Alone" is the second single from Lives album, Throwing Copper. The single was released to radio stations in the United States, but was only released commercially overseas. It reached #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart and #5 on the Hot 100 Recurrent Airplay chart. The songs meaning has been theorized upon by many fans, yet little regarding it has been commented upon by the band.
