"Teen Age Riot" was the first single from Sonic Youths 1988 album, Daydream Nation. It is the bands first largely successful release, receiving heavy airplay in modern rock stations, and considerably expanding their audience (along with the album itself).
Especially catchy and commercial for the band at the time, it is recognised as one of the bands most defining songs and is still frequently played at concerts.
