"Ride On" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the eighth track of their Australian album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, released in September 1976 (see 1976 in music), and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott. It is noted for being a departure from AC/DCs normal loud, fast-paced songs.
The international version was not released in the United States until April 1981 (see 1981 in music). It is the fifth track on Who Made Who, released in May 1986 (see 1986 in music), and is the only Bon Scott-written song included on that compilation. It was also released on Volts, which was released on the Bonfire' box set, and includes several interviews with Bon Scott weeks before his tragic death in 1980.
