“Crash and Burn” is a single released by Australian pop group Savage Garden from their second album Affirmation. Released in early 2000, it was the album’s third single in Oceania, Asia and the UK, and the second single released in North America and much of Europe (where the album’s single Affirmation had not been released). It hit number one in several countries including Finland and Norway, and it reached the top five in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Sweden and France among others. In the UK, the song reached #14, while in the US the song peaked at number 24. “Crash and Burn” is significant in that it was the group’s final top 10 single before they broke up the next year.
