"Tequila Sunrise" is a song written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey, and recorded by the Eagles. It was the first single from the bands second album Desperado.
Glenn Frey stated during the 1994 Hell Freezes Over appearance on MTV that this is one of the first two songs (the other being "Desperado") he and Henley wrote together.
Early live performances of this song included an extra verse at the end.
