Revolver (stylized as rEVOLVEr) is the fourth studio album by Swedish metal band The Haunted. This album merges the raw blueprint of their self-titled debut with the slightly more refined and produced sound evident on their subsequent albums. After several line-up changes, the band’s sound has achieved a different vibe to the music’s sound. The return of original vocalist Peter Dolving (who left after the first album due to family reasons) is one of the most striking changes. His howling vocal attack, combined with Per Möller Jensen’s lightning-quick and incredibly accurate drum technique and the stellar guitarwork that is the signature of The Haunted has created what many are hailing as the band’s finest work to date.
