True Love is the ninth album by Pat Benatar, it is a jump blues record released in 1991. It peaked at #37 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Pat Benatar recorded the album with Neil Giraldo, Myron Grombacher and the Roomful of Blues horn section and drummer. The album included the seasonal standard “Please Come Home for Christmas” as a bonus track, which was released to the US Troops serving in the Gulf War. The album is a combination of cover and original tracks. The album ended up selling over 339,000” copies with little radio airplay.
