Blue Blood is an album released by X Japan on April 21, 1989. It contains re-recordings of tracks from the bands debut album Vanishing Vision, "Kurenai" and "Unfinished" (both with alternate/expanded lyrics) and leans more towards symphonic rock than its predecessor ("Rose of Pain" includes portions from J.S. Bachs "Fugue in G Minor"). Several songs from the record remained mainstays in X Japans live sets, such as "Week End", "Endless Rain", "Kurenai", and "X", which many fans consider to be their signature song. Remastered editions of Blue Blood and the album Jealousy were released on February 14, 2007, each including a bonus CD with instrumental versions of some songs. The title track was covered by Argentinian metal band, Auvernia, on their 2008 album, Towards Eternity'. Read full article at wikipedia.org
