The song was sampled by Eric B. & Rakim in their song "As the Rhyme Goes On", sampling the part when they say "Pump it up, homeboy". The song was also sampled by Eazy-E on his song Boyz-N-The-Hood (Remix) from the album Eazy-Duz-It. He used the line "Beer drinking, breath stinking, sniffing glue" in this song.
