Heavy metal group Megadeth did a cover of the song for the 1989 film Shocker. The song was also covered by Pat Boone for the cover album . Czech singer Aleš Brichta recorded this song with the Czech lyrics under the title "Couvnou, pane Bourák" for his second solo album "Ráno ve dveřích armády spásy" in 1996.
