"Can I Sit Next to You Girl" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the seventh track of their Australian album T.N.T., released in December 1975 (see 1975 in music), and is also the sixth track on the international version of High Voltage, released in May 1976. Written by Angus Young and Malcolm Young, it was AC/DCs first original song, having been recorded with original lead singer Dave Evans just before Bon Scott replaced him. A music video on YouTube shows the band with Evans playing the song on the show "Countdown". A higher quality version of the video was uploaded on August 15, 2010. An earlier version, "Can I Sit Next to You, Girl" (with a comma; see image) was recorded by AC/DC with original lead singer Dave Evans, and was released as a single the same year.
