"Spank Thru" is a Fecal Matter song and, according to Krist Novoselic, the first ever Nirvana song. It was first recorded for the Illiteracy Will Prevail demo in December 1985. Another studio version, rerecorded with Chad Channing on drums, was released in 1988 on a vinyl LP box set of bands on the Sub Pop label. The box set was called Sub Pop 200.
